Semarang, 22 December 2023 – Diponegoro University Faculty of Law (FH Undip) has once again strengthened its commitment to the health and welfare of the academic community by holding Posbindu FH. At this Posbindu, health checks include height, weight, abdominal circumference, blood pressure, cholesterol, blood sugar, and uric acid. Posbindu FH Undip also collaborates with related health institutions and involves students from health study programs to provide quality services.
It is hoped that Posbindu FH Undip will not only be a place of service but also a center for health information and education for the entire academic community. Thus, the Faculty of Law, Universitas Diponegoro continues to strive to create an environment that supports the optimal development of the academic community in all aspects of their lives.

Semarang, 12 December 2023 – Today, the Faculty of Law, Diponegoro University (Undip) welcomed special guests from Al-Azhar Islamic High School 3 for an educational visit. This visit aims to provide deeper insight to the students of Al-Azhar Islamic High School 3 about the Diponegoro University law faculty and the latest developments related to PMB.
The visit began with a warm welcome from the leadership of the Undip Faculty of Law, who expressed his gratitude for the presence of the Al-Azhar Islamic High School 3 students. He hoped that this visit could provide motivation and inspiration for the Al-Azhar Islamic High School 3 students to pursue their dreams. they are in the legal field.
The Al-Azhar 3 Islamic High School students were then invited to take part in a series of activities that had been prepared, including an explanation of the Undip Law Faculty, facilities, and a campus tour. Apart from that, students were also given the opportunity to discuss directly with the leadership of the Undip Law Faculty. It is hoped that this will help students to understand more deeply about lecture life and the learning atmosphere in the faculty environment. This visit ended with a question and answer session, where students could ask questions to the leadership of the Undip Law Faculty. The event closed by giving mementos to the students as a form of appreciation for their visit. It is hoped that AL AZHAR ISLAM SMA’s visit to Undip’s Faculty of Law will provide additional motivation for students to pursue their dreams in the world of law.

Semarang, 5 December 2023 – The National Seminar with the theme “Integrity of Sentencing Policy in the Implementation of the Crime of Deprivation of Liberty through the Concept of Restorative Justice” was successfully held in Room H304, Prof. Building. Satjipto Rahardjo, S.H., Faculty of Law, Diponegoro University. This event was organized by the Criminal Law Section of Undip’s Faculty of Law as an effort to discuss and gain a deeper understanding of sentencing policies in the criminal context of deprivation of liberty using a restorative justice approach.
This national seminar was attended by academics, legal practitioners and students. Prof. Dr. Barda Nawawi Arief, S.H. acting as a keynote speaker delivering a warm welcome. This activity was moderated by 2 (two) young lecturers in the criminal law section of the Undip law faculty, namely Rahmi Dwi Sutanti, S.H., M.H. and Mujiono Hafidh Prasetyo, S.H., M.H., LL.M.
The main speakers in this seminar are legal experts who have extensive experience in the field of punishment and restorative justice, namely Prof. Anthon F Susanto who is a professor of Law at Pasundan University, Head of the Correctional Division of the Central Java Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, Kadiyono, and 3 lecturers at the Faculty of Law, Diponegoro University, namely Prof. Pujiyono, Dr. Nur Rochaeti, and Dr. Umi Rozah. They discussed critical aspects related to the seminar theme, including the principles of restorative justice, the role of sentencing policy in achieving justice, and the challenges faced in implementing this concept.
The seminar also featured a question and answer session, where participants could interact directly with the speakers to obtain clarification and further discussion. This National Seminar is considered a step forward in supporting the understanding and implementation of sentencing policies with integrity, especially in the context of the crime of deprivation of liberty. The criminal law section of the Diponegoro University law faculty hopes that similar events will continue to be held to advance discussions and research in the field of law.
