Universitas Diponegoro’s Faculty of Law Holds Vision, Mission, Goals, and Strategy Workshop Towards a Globally Competitive Law Faculty

Semarang, June 24, 2026 – The Faculty of Law, Universitas Diponegoro (FH Undip), held a Vision, Mission, Goals, and Strategy (VMTS) Workshop with the theme “Strengthening the Vision, Mission, Goals, and Strategy of the Faculty of Law, Universitas Diponegoro, in Realizing a Law Faculty that is Excellent, Impactful, and Globally Competitive.” This activity is part of the Faculty of Law Undip’s efforts to formulate a direction for institutional development that is adaptive to current challenges and aligned with Universitas Diponegoro’s vision.

The workshop was officially opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Prof. Dr. Retno Saraswati, S.H., M.Hum., and attended by faculty leaders, professors, lecturers, administrative staff, student representatives, alums, and various stakeholders who provided strategic input for the development of the Faculty of Law Undip.

In the first session, participants received a presentation entitled “Universitas Diponegoro’s Vision, Mission, Goals, and Strategy as a Basis for Formulating and Developing the Vision, Mission, Goals, and Strategy of the Faculty of Law, Universitas Diponegoro,” delivered by Prof. Dr. Ir. Purwanto, DEA., Head of the Planning and Development Agency of Universitas Diponegoro. Dr. Kadek Cahya Susila Wibawa, S.H., M.H., moderated the session.

Through this presentation, participants were encouraged to understand the policy direction and development of Universitas Diponegoro as a foundation for formulating a relevant, progressive, and VMTS FH Undip-oriented VMTS, aimed at achieving academic excellence and having a tangible impact on society.

The event then continued with a discussion session and deliberation on the VMTS FH Undip, moderated by Dr. Aditya Yuli Sulistyawan, S.H., M.H. During this session, participants actively provided various constructive input and insights regarding strengthening the faculty’s vision, mission, goals, and strategies to address the future needs of legal education.

Through this workshop, the Faculty of Law at Universitas Diponegoro (FH Undip) reaffirmed its commitment to continuously improving the institution’s development direction to produce graduates who excel, possess integrity, have an impact on society, and can compete globally. The discussions and recommendations are expected to serve as a crucial foundation for establishing the Faculty of Law at Universitas Diponegoro as a law school that is increasingly high-quality, innovative, and responsive to national and international developments.
