Semarang, May 28, 2024 – During the Lex Proficia 2024 summer course series, the Faculty of Law at Diponegoro University focused on the theme of “International Human Rights and the Environmental Impact of War (Israel-Palestine Case).” The event, which took place online, featured two prominent speakers: Prof. Markus Wagner from the University of Wollongong, Australia, and Prof. Alberto Costi. The session was hosted by Fachry Hasani Habib.
Prof. Markus Wagner discussed the use of strategic litigation in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. He explained that strategic litigation aims to establish strong legal precedents and provide justice for the victims, while also advocating for broader policy changes.
