Universitas Diponegoro as one of the state Universities with legal status (PTN-BH) is not only trying to make the students independent, capable and strong in knowledge of science but as a form of identity themselves who shall be owned by the alumni. The focus of the implementation of Universitas Diponegoro Education is generate graduates who have the COMPLETE profile, which has the excellence of nationally and internationally competitiveness and can contribute to the development of the science, technology, arts, culture and sports.

COMPLETE is every Universitas Diponegoro graduate must have the following qualifications:

1. Communicator is Universitas Diponegoro graduates who are able to communicate verbally and written;
2. Professional is Universitas Diponegoro graduates who are expected to work in accordance with principles, development based on achievement and upholding the code of ethics,
3. Leader is Universitas Diponegoro graduates who have the adaptive abilities, care for the environment, proactive, motivators, and able to work well with stakeholders.
4. Entrepreneur is Universitas Diponegoro graduates who have a high work ethic, entrepreneurial skills, innovation and independence.
5. Thinker is Universitas Diponegoro graduates who are required to have the ability to think critically, lifelong learner and become reliable researcher.
6. Educator is Universitas Diponegoro graduates who are able to become agent of change.

The Faculty of Law Universitas Diponegoro is one of the oldest Law Faculties in Indonesia. In order to support the mission of implementing legal education in order to produce competent, competitive and progressive law graduates, the Faculty of Law has set the standard graduate profile known as “The Seven Star“.

The Seven Star is a series of competency standards for legal graduates from Universitas Diponegoro to become qualified and highly competitive human resources in participating in national development and serving stakeholders. Several components in the profile of the Faculty of Law UNDIP graduates “The Seven Star” consist of:

1. Law Policy Maker is a graduate profile that is related to hard skills, the graduates of the Faculty of Law Universitas Diponegoro are expected to be able to become a reliable policy maker in accommodating the various interests of stakeholders into a legal product which covers various fields of community life.
2. Law Problem Solver is a graduate profile that is related to hard skills, the graduates of the Faculty of Law Universitas Diponegoro are expected to be able to solve legal problems which exist in society either through litigation or litigation.
3. Negotiator is a graduate profile that is related to hard skills, the graduates of the Faculty of Law Universitas Diponegoro are expected to have good negotiation skills.
4. Entrepreneur is a graduate profile that is related to soft skills, the graduates of the Faculty of Law Universitas Diponegoro are expected to have management skills, creative and innovative and be able to create jobs for the community.
5. Communicator is a graduate profile that is related to soft skills, the graduates of the Faculty of Law Universitas Diponegoro have the ability to communicate both verbal and written.
6. Professional is a graduate profile that is related to soft skills, the graduates of the Faculty of Law of Universitas Diponegoro in carrying out their work which is required to be achievement oriented, uphold the principles and integrity and guided by code of ethics.
7. Leader is a graduate profile that is related to soft skills, the graduates of the Faculty of Law of Universitas Diponegoro are required to have a strong leadership spirit, good adaptability and cooperation, reliable motivation and be able to inspire the youth generation and active to be a pioneer in change.

The alumni of the Faculty of Law Universitas Diponegoro have contributed to the development of the Indonesian nation. Graduates produced by the Faculty of Law Universitas Diponegoro are scattered in various professional fields, including academics, bureaucrats, prosecutors, judges, lawyers, private sector, notaries, entrepreneurs and others. Even a number of alumni profiles of the Faculty of Law graduates have made brilliant achievements and held important positions in the national and international sphere.
