Introduction to Campus Life for New Students or commonly known as PKKMB is an activity carried out for new students in order to introduce themselves to the campus and prepare new students for a learning environment in Higher Education. The Faculty of Law UNDIP held PKKMB for 2 days, on 14 and 15 August 2023. This event began with the PKKMB Ceremony and continued with PKKMB activities. The PKKMB ceremony was attended by New Law Faculty UNDIP 2023 Students. The total number of New UNDIP Law Students is 1,213 students. Consisting of 797 regular undergraduate students, 29 IUP students, 28 undergraduate Jepara students, 149 students Master of Notary, 162 Law Masters students, and 48 students Doctor of Law Study Program.

The PKKMB ceremony was opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Law UNDIP, Prof. Dr. Retno Saraswati., S.H., M.Hum. by tapping the hammer 3 times. “Today, August 14, new students were officially accepted by the Faculty of Law UNDIP, previously students were officially appointed at the University on August 11 2023 and the handover from the Chancellor to me as the Dean to be educated according to existing regulations,” added Prof. Dr. Retno Saraswati., S.H., M.Hum. in greeting.

In this ceremony, the Dean also introduced the Deputy Dean, Head of the Study Program, Study Program Secretary, Head of Section, Administrative Manager, and Supervisor. Then the ceremonial procession The acceptance of new students bearing the banner is represented by each study program. Followed by the opening of the PKKMB activity by sticking a wayang mountain by Prof. Dr. Retno Saraswati., S.H., M.Hum.
Before closing the ceremony, a video of congratulations was played to new students, an introduction to the campus, and an introduction to the lecturers. The Dean of the Faculty of Law UNDIP closed the PKKMB ceremony by tapping the gavel 3 times.

The series of PKKMB activities on the first day were:

  1. Presentation of material with the theme “Nation Life, Statehood and Development of State Defense Awareness (Defending the Country, Prevention of Intolerance, Radicalism, Terrorism)” by Brigadier General. Pol. Awi Setiyono, S.I.K., M.Hum. (Deputy Governor of Police Academy)
  2. Presentation of material with the theme “Nation Life, State and State Defense Awareness Development (Pancasila, Study Profile
    Pancasila)” by Hasyim Asy’ari, S.H., M.Sc., Ph.D. (Chairman of the KPU of the Republic of Indonesia)
  3. Material presentation on the Indonesian Higher Education System in the Era of the Independent Campus (Introduction to the Higher Education System in Indonesia and the Formation of Student Character) by Prof. Dr. Retno Saraswati S.H., M.Hum. (Dean of FH Undip)
  4. Material presentation on the Indonesian Higher Education System in the Era of the Independent Campus (Introduction to Culture, Ethics, Manners, Norms of Campus Life, Bullying, Prevention of Immoral Actions and Sexual Violence on Campus) by Dr. Tri Laksmi Indreswari, S.H., M.H. (Deputy Dean for Academic and Student Affairs)
  5. Introduction of Student Organizations for Phase I Undergraduate Students (UKMF and several Faculty organizations), namely Pseudorechtspraak, PRMK, KDKS, ALSA, BOLA, and LPM-GK.

The series of PKKMB activities on the second day were:

  1. Presentation of material about PERAK (Academic Regulations), Learning Methods, and Lecture Systems by Dr. Aditya Yuli Sulistyawan, S.H., M.Hum.
  2. Introduction of SIAP UNDIP by Danda Purwidyatmoko, S.Kom. and Erwin Rudiyuwono, S.E. as academic staff
  3. Material presentation on Undip Library Access by Mrs. Fahimah S.sos.
  4. Presentation of material with the theme “Higher Education in the Era of Industrial Revolution 4.0 and Society 5.0” by Kadek Cahya Susila Wibawa, S.H., M.H.
  5. Presentation of material with the theme “Environmental Awareness and Disaster Mitigation/ Preparedness in Higher Education” by Prof. Dr. Fx. Adji Samekto, S.H., M.H., and M. Nashir Jamaludin, SHI.
  6. Presentation of “Campus Facilities and Infrastructure” by Solechan S.H., M.H. as deputy dean for human resources
  7. Introduction to Student Organizations for Stage II Undergraduate Students, namely PMK, PSM-SDG, KSBA, KKI, THEMIS, NEBULA, KSHI, BASKET, KRD, SELF-Defense, SENAT, and BEM FH UNDIP.
