FOR THREE CONSECUTIVE DAYS, UNDIP’S FACULTY OF LAW RECEIVES A SCHOOL VISIT — THIS TIME FROM MAN 1, MALANG CITY

Semarang, April 2, 2026 — The Faculty of Law, Diponegoro University (FH Undip) once again received a school visit for campus outreach. Interestingly, this activity was part of a series of visits that took place over three consecutive days over the past week.

On Thursday (April 2), the visit came from MAN 1, Malang City, and was attended by 151 social studies students and six accompanying teachers. The event began at 8:00 a.m. with a campus tour, during which participants explored Undip’s Faculty of Law facilities, including lecture halls, courtrooms, the dean’s office, the library, and the International Undergraduate Program (IUP).

After the campus tour, the event continued in the Fiat Justisia Room, Prof. Dr. Samiadji Soerotjaroko, S.H. Building. The event began with remarks from the Faculty of Law, Diponegoro University (Undip), delivered by Andi Susetyo, S.T., M.Pi., a Human Resources Officer of the Faculty of Law. In his remarks, he commended the achievements of MAN 1 Malang City students.

“Many MAN 1 Malang City students were accepted through the SNBT (National Selection for Admission). We encourage them to continue improving their achievements, both nationally and internationally, because it’s time and right to be able to enter other selection pathways such as the SBUB (National Selection for Admission),” he said.

Also, Dewi Nurjanah, S.Pd., a teacher accompanying MAN 1 Malang City, delivered remarks. She expressed her gratitude for the warm welcome from the Faculty of Law. “Alhamdulillah (Praise be to God), thank you for your support. We were welcomed very warmly, like a red carpet, a symbol of great people who benefit all humanity,” she said.

The event then continued with a plaque exchange as a token of appreciation and a symbol of the good relationship between the two institutions.

Next, participants received a presentation on Diponegoro University and the Academic Information System at the Faculty of Law (FH) Undip by Willy Naresta, S.H., M.Kn., a lecturer in Constitutional Law. This session provided students with insight into the lecture system, admission pathways, and academic life at the Faculty of Law (FH) Undip.

During the discussion session, one of the accompanying teachers emphasized the importance of early preparation for students. He emphasized that the process of mapping students’ interests and abilities has been carried out since grade 10 to prepare for competitive grades, especially for those wishing to continue their studies at Diponegoro University through the SNBP (National Admissions for Notary) pathway.

Furthermore, students actively asked questions, including one regarding the steps required to become a notary. This demonstrates the students’ high interest in the legal profession.

Through this activity, it is hoped that students at MAN 1 Malang City will gain a clearer picture of the academic world and be more motivated to continue their education to a higher level, particularly at the Faculty of Law (FH) Undip.
