Diponegoro University Faculty of Law in collaboration with PT. Equityworld Futures Semarang held a seminar with the theme “Commodity Futures Trading Literacy” on 31 May 2023. This activity was opened by Prof. Dr. Retno Saraswati, S.H., M.Hum. as Dean of the Faculty of Law, Diponegoro University. There were 2 speakers in this activity, namely Dr. Paramita Prananingtyas, S.H., LL.M. (Lecturer in Business Law, Faculty of Law, Diponegoro University) and Ismet Faradis (Branch Head of PT. Equityworld Futures Semarang).
Dr. Paramita Prananingtyas, said that “Commodity Futures Trading, hereinafter referred to as Futures Trading, is everything related to the sale and purchase of Commodities with withdrawal of Margin and with later settlement based on Futures Contracts, Sharia Derivative Contracts, and/or other Derivative Contracts”, besides that Dr. Paramita also provides tactics for choosing a broker.
