The Faculty of Law (FH) of Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP) welcomed a visit from the Penuntun Masa Depanku Foundation and participants of the Secondary Education Affirmation Program (ADEM) in the Papua Region on Thursday, July 9, 2026. The event, held from 8:00–10:00 a.m. Western Indonesian Time (WIB) in the Fiat Justisia Room on the 3rd Floor of the Prof. Samiaji Suryotjaroko, S.H., Faculty of Law Building, Tembalang Campus, was attended by 140 students and five mentors.
The participants were students of the ADEM Program in the Papua Region who had recently completed their junior high school education and were about to enter the new academic year at the senior high school level. Through this program, the students will continue their education in various regions in Central Java and the Special Region of Yogyakarta, including Semarang, Salatiga, Surakarta, Pekalongan, Purbalingga, and Yogyakarta.
The visit was welcomed by Andhi Susetyo, S.T., M.P.I., Supervisor of Human Resources at the Faculty of Law, Universitas Diponegoro. In his remarks, Andhi encouraged the participants to maintain their enthusiasm for their education.
“What must never be lost is optimism about education. Optimism about oneself and the future must always be there,” he said.
Syahrir, S.Sos., a representative of the Penuntun Masa Depanku Foundation, also delivered remarks. He encouraged all participants to take advantage of the opportunity to visit universities to equip them with the tools they need to achieve their dreams.
“Use this opportunity as a stepping stone and strengthen your resolve to continue your education to a higher level,” he said.
As a token of appreciation and to strengthen the collaboration, the event continued with a plaque handover ceremony between the Penuntun Masa Depanku Foundation and the Faculty of Law, Universitas Diponegoro.
Entering the main session, participants received a presentation about Universitas Diponegoro and an introduction to the Undergraduate Law Study Program from Mujiono Hafidh Prasetyo, S.H., M.H., LL.M., a lecturer in Criminal Law at the Faculty of Law, Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP). In his presentation, Mujiono introduced the profile of Universitas Diponegoro, the advantages of the Faculty of Law, university admission pathways, and the various self-development opportunities available to students studying at the Faculty of Law.
The participants’ enthusiasm was evident throughout the event, especially during the interactive question-and-answer session. The event concluded with a quiz, during which students actively participated, creating a lively atmosphere and strengthening their understanding of Universitas Diponegoro and the Undergraduate Law Study Program.
Through this activity, the Faculty of Law, Universitas Diponegoro, hopes to inspire and motivate participants in the ADEM Program in the Papua Region to continue achieving their goals and to have confidence in pursuing their dreams through higher education.
