The 2026 APHTN-HAN Central Java Regional Conference was officially held at the Faculty of Law, Universitas Diponegoro, as a strategic forum for academics and lecturers in Constitutional Law and State Administrative Law in Central Java. This event provided crucial momentum to strengthen institutional synergy and to determine the leadership direction of APHTN-HAN Central Java Province for the next term.
The event began with remarks from the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Universitas Diponegoro, Prof. Dr. Retno Saraswati, S.H., M.Hum. In her remarks, she expressed her appreciation for the trust placed in FH Undip as host of the 2026 APHTN-HAN Central Java Regional Conference. She also emphasized the importance of collaboration among academics in developing scholarship on Constitutional Law and State Administrative Law in Indonesia.
Furthermore, remarks, direction, and the opening ceremony were delivered by the APHTN-HAN Central Executive Board. In his remarks, Prof. Dr. Himawan Estu Bagijo, S.H., M.H., emphasized the importance of academic professional organizations in responding to the dynamics of state administration and the development of state administrative law in the modern era.
The series of events then continued with a report from the Acting Head of the APHTN-HAN Central Java Province, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Fauzan, S.H., M.Hum. The report outlined the organization’s condition and the agenda for the regional conference, which is a crucial part of the organization’s leadership regeneration process.
Following the report session, participants took a coffee break before moving on to the main agenda: the election of the Chairperson of the APHTN-HAN Central Java Province. The election process was moderated by Prof. Dr. Sunny Ummul Firdaus, S.H., M.H. and was conducted by acclamation in a friendly and collegial atmosphere.
Through this mechanism, Prof. Dr. Agus Riwanto, S.H., S.Ag., M.Ag., M.H. C.L.A., was officially elected as the Chairperson of the APHTN-HAN Central Java Province for the next term. The acclamation election reflected the meeting participants’ trust and support for the leadership, which is expected to help the organization become more progressive and better adapted to legal developments in Indonesia.
Before the meeting concluded, the elected Chairperson delivered remarks and expressed his hope that the APHTN-HAN Central Java Province would continue to be a forum for active academic collaboration in the development of science, research, and thought contributions in the fields of Constitutional Law and State Administrative Law.
At the 2026 APHTN-HAN Central Java Regional Conference, the Faculty of Law of Universitas Diponegoro once again demonstrated its commitment to strengthening academic networks and developing legal education at the regional and national levels.
