The Faculty of Law, Universitas Diponegoro (FH UNDIP) proudly presents the Postdoctoral Fellowship Program 2025, featuring Dr. Jenita A/P Kanapathy, Senior Lecturer at the School of Law and Governance, Faculty of Business & Law, Taylor’s University, Malaysia. Running from November 17 to 28, 2025, this program is a strategic initiative by FH UNDIP to strengthen its internationalization agenda, build cross-country research collaborations, and accelerate scientific publication in reputed Q1 and Q2 journals.
From her first day, Dr. Jenita has been involved in a range of academic activities designed to broaden scholarly interactions among FH UNDIP lecturers, researchers, and students. One of the main activities includes a series of visiting classes open to all levels of study, from students in the International Undergraduate Program (IUP) and Master of Law (S2) students to those in the Doctoral Program in Law (S3). Through these sessions, Dr. Jenita discusses important developments in Contract Law, comparative law approaches, and contemporary legal research techniques that are relevant in the global context. Her presence opens up wider academic dialogues and provides students with new perspectives on the dynamics of contract law at the international level.
In addition to teaching, the program focuses on enhancing the quality of research and scientific publications within the FH UNDIP community. Dr. Jenita leads publication workshops and academic writing sessions, where lecturers and research teams receive direct guidance on manuscript refinement, the selection of appropriate Q1/Q2 journals, sharpening methodologies and strengthening the structure of scientific arguments. These sessions form a vital part of the program as they foster the development of a more productive research ecosystem oriented towards reputable international publications.
As a manifestation of their commitment to ongoing collaboration, FH UNDIP and Dr. Jenita have also established a Joint Publication Team, a collaborative publishing team tasked with aligning research roadmaps, determining focal study areas, and designing schemes for co-authored articles. This team serves as a foundation for producing joint scientific works aimed at publication in high-impact legal journals, particularly those focusing on private law issues and comparative research methodologies.
Beyond academic activities, Dr. Jenita has also participated in a series of institutional discussions with the faculty leadership and official visits to the Directorate of Reputation, Partnership, and Global Connectivity (RPGC) at Diponegoro University, opening up opportunities for further collaboration in the form of academic exchanges, joint research programs, and the development of internationally standardized curricula.
