Located in the Vice Dean Room for Academic and Student Affairs, the Faculty of Law of University of Diponegoro together with the International Office held an Internal Focus Group Discussion and Guidance for Writing International Standard Scientific Articles. The event was held on Monday 7 October 2019 in the Vice Dean Room for Academic and Student Affairs at the Faculty of Law, Diponegoro University. Narasumbeer who was invited as a speaker at the event this time was Assoc. Prof. Benedict Sheehy, a legal expert from the University of Canberra’s School of Law and Justice.
The topic that was the subject of discussion in the Focus Group Discussion activity was the Current Developmemt of International Private Law. The participants who attended this occasion consisted of a number of FH UNDIP Lecturers from the Department of Civil Law and Department of International Law. After the Focuss Group Discussion activity was held, Assoc. Prof. Benedict Sheehy provided training and guidance on writing international standard scientific journal articles for a number of Diponegoro University Law Faculty Lecturers who wanted to publish their scientific papers in proceedings and scientific journals that were indexed by Scopus.
Assoc. Prof. Benedict Sheehy is an Australian legal expert with expertise in Corporate Social Responsibility, Corporate Law and Regulation. A number of his scientific papers have been widely published in international scientific journals and have been widely quoted by international academics. Currently he also serves as Dean of the University of Canberra’s School of Law and Justice. Aside from being an internationally renowned academic, Prof. Assoc Benedict Sheehy also has experience as a professional lawyer and executive at a company in Australia. He was also referred to as one of the overseas teaching staff in the International Undergraduate Study Program at the Faculty of Law, Diponegoro University.
