Semarang – The Faculty of Law Undip received a visit from SMAN Glenmore Banyuwangi as part of an Out-of-Class Learning (outing class) activity on Monday, January 12, 2026. The event was attended by 148 students and accompanied by 10 teachers.
The activity took place in the Fiat Justisia Room, Prof. Dr. Samiadji Soerotjaroko, S.H. Building, 3rd Floor, Faculty of Law, Diponegoro University, Tembalang Campus, Semarang. The SMAN Glenmore Banyuwangi group was welcomed by Mr. Andi Susetyo, S.T., M.P.I., as the Supervisor of Human Resources at FH Undip. “Welcome to the Faculty of Law, which is one of the best law faculties in Indonesia. I am here representing the Dean as she is currently in a meeting with the lecturers. I hope that by visiting here, you can be inspired about which faculty you may pursue in the future,” he greeted.
The next speech was delivered by the Principal of SMAN Glenmore Banyuwangi, Mr. Heriyanto Nurcahyo, S.Pd., M.Li. He expressed his gratitude and admiration for the FH Undip campus environment. “Thank you, the campus is beautiful, clean, and the buildings are multi-storied. Where we are from, it’s mostly rice fields, so the students here are really impressed,” he said. The event continued with a plaque handover ceremony as a token of remembrance between SMAN Glenmore Banyuwangi and the Faculty of Law, Undip.
Entering the main agenda, participants received a presentation on Introduction to Diponegoro University and Introduction to the Faculty of Law, Undip, delivered by the FH Undip Public Relations Team, Umaira Hayuning Anggayasti, S.H., M.Kn. The session was interactive and concluded with a question-and-answer segment which was enthusiastically received by the students.
In closing, this outing class activity is expected to provide insights, motivation, and a real picture of university life, especially at the Faculty of Law, Diponegoro University, for SMAN Glenmore Banyuwangi students as they plan their further education.
