In commemorating the 67th Anniversary of Diponegoro University (Undip), the Faculty of Law (FH) participated in the carnival and yell activities at the Tembalang campus on October 15, 2024 afternoon. This activity was attended by lecturers, education staff, and students, who together brought the spirit of togetherness and creativity.
FH Undip made a special appearance at the carnival. One of the highlights of FH is the creation of a mini replica of the Faculty of Law building, which illustrates their pride in the identity and history of the faculty. This replica was decorated with details that resembled the original building, attracting the attention of the carnival participants and spectators. The presence of this mini building is not only a symbol of identity but also shows FH’s contribution to the long journey of Diponegoro University over the past 67 years.
In addition, FH also carried a vegetable gunungan, a symbol full of philosophical meaning. Gunungan sayur symbolizes prosperity and blessings, an important symbol in Javanese culture. This participation shows the commitment of the Undip Faculty of Law to supporting the values of environmental sustainability and community welfare.
No less interesting, FH also introduced the results of their innovation in the form of compost fertilizer, which is processed by educational staff from organic waste generated in the campus environment. This compost fertilizer reflects the faculty’s commitment to environmental sustainability and environmentally friendly waste management. This is one of the real contributions of FH Undip in supporting the green campus movement launched by Undip. Not to mention Toca, the PKKMB mascot, was also present at this carnival activity along with the punokawan.
Not only in terms of creativity, FH also enlivened the activity with enthusiastic yells from carnival participants. These chants aroused the enthusiasm of all participants and added to the warmth of the carnival atmosphere. All parties, from lecturers to students, collaborated to show their cohesiveness and pride in the faculty.
