The Faculty of Law at Universitas Diponegoro (FH Undip) has officially collaborated with the Semarang Immigration Office Class I Special TPI to organize a student internship program. The signing of the Cooperation Agreement (PKS) took place on November 24, 2025, in the Meeting Room of the Prof. Satjipto Rahardjo, S.H. Building, Faculty of Law, Universitas Diponegoro.
In his remarks, the Dean of FH Undip stated that this collaboration is highly strategic in supporting the enhancement of student competency. “We hope that students will not only understand the normative aspects of immigration law but also be able to observe how these regulations are implemented in real-life situations. This will serve as an important provision for them as they enter the professional world,” he said.
A representative from the Semarang Immigration Office Class I Special TPI also welcomed this cooperation. According to him, involving students in immigration activities provides added value to both the institution and the internship participants, particularly in developing broader insights and practical legal skills.
Through this internship program, students will gain experience in various activities, such as immigration administrative services, assistance related to public law aspects, and supporting the supervision of the movement of people within Indonesia. Thus, students are expected to apply the theories learned in class while also strengthening their professional skills. FH Undip is committed to continuously expanding its partnership network with various institutions to improve the quality of learning, students’ practical experience, and the competitiveness of its graduates at the national and international levels.
