Semarang, April 11, 2025 — The Faculty of Law at Diponegoro University (FH Undip), through its student activity unit UKM-F Pseudorechtspraak, once again held a Mock Trial activity at the Police Academy (Akpol). This annual event has become a collaborative agenda between FH Undip and Akpol, aiming to strengthen the synergy between the academic world and police education.
The simulation is designed as an interactive learning tool that allows Akpol cadets (Taruna and Taruni) to directly understand the mechanism of a trial and the application of the Criminal Procedure Law in a real-life context. More than just a performance, this activity serves as a practical and educational dialogue space to enrich the perspective of future law enforcement officers on the Indonesian criminal justice system.
With a simulation-based approach, FH Undip law students take on the roles of judges, prosecutors, legal advisors (defense counsel), and the defendant in a criminal case structured according to procedural law. Through realistic scenarios, participants from both institutions are invited to explore the legal process comprehensively, from the trial’s opening to the verdict’s reading.
This activity also strengthens cross-institutional understanding between academics and prospective legal practitioners, and is part of a shared commitment to developing competent and professional legal resources.
FH Undip extends its gratitude to all parties who contributed to the success of this event, especially to the student delegation and the official team of UKM-F Pseudorechtspraak, who prepared the best performance for the 2025 Police Academy Mock Trial.
