Tuesday, 30 June 2020 – Diponegoro University’s Faculty of Law received a visit from a delegation of officials from the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia at the Dean Building, Tembalang Undip Campus. The delegation’s arrival was welcomed by the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Diponegoro University, Prof. Dr. Retno Saraswati, S.H., M.Hum. along with the Deputy Deans. The Supreme Court Officials’ delegation was led by Dr. Hasbi Hasan, S.H., M.H., As the Head of the Research and Development Center of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia together with Dr. Ismail Rumadan, S.H., M.H. (Research Center for Research and Development), Esther Sitohang, S.H, M.H. (Head of Publication and Cooperation), Sudaryanto, S.H., M.H. (Kasubid Cooperation), Hendroyatmoko, S.H. (Center for Research and Development) and Suhardin, S.H., M.H. (Research and Development Staff).
This visit aims to follow up and formulate concrete steps for cooperation between the two parties. The scope of cooperation discussed includes exchanging information on legal developments by linking each of the two institutions’ websites, organizing a Focus Group Discussion (FGD), disseminating and annotating decisions, journals and speakers. The meeting was held in the Dean Room of the Faculty of Law, Diponegoro University. This cooperation discussion was attended directly by the Vice Deans and members of the delegation of officials of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia. The event was closed with a group photo between the delegation of the Officials of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia and the Leaders of the Faculty of Law of Diponegoro University on a photo booth located in Selasar Satjipto Rahardjo Building, Faculty of Law, Diponegoro University.
