The Faculty of Law of Diponegoro University (FH Undip) hosted a study visit from State Islamic Senior High School (MAN) 1 Tegal on Monday, January 26, 2026—the event, which began at 11:00 a.m. 234 students and 14 accompanying teachers attended Western Indonesian Time (WIB) as part of an effort to introduce the world of higher education, particularly legal education.
The series of activities began with a tour of the Undip Faculty of Law campus and lecture buildings, including a visit to the library and various other academic support facilities. The tour was guided by Heru Setyono, S.S., and Deka Harry Prabowo, who provided an explanation of the educational facilities and infrastructure within the Undip Faculty of Law.
Next, the MAN 1 Tegal group headed to the event center, located in the Fiat Justisia Room, Prof. Dr. Samiadji Soerotjaroko, S.H., 3rd Floor. The event began with a screening of the Undip Faculty of Law company profile video, which showcased the faculty’s profile, academic activities, and various achievements.
The event then continued with remarks from Mr. Andi Susetyo, S.T., M.P.I., the Human Resources Supervisor at the Faculty of Law Undip. “We welcome the entire MAN 1 Tegal delegation to the Faculty of Law, Diponegoro University. We apologize that the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Prof. Dr. Retno Saraswati, S.H., M.Hum., is unable to attend in person due to her attendance at the Diponegoro University Professorship Inauguration. We hope this study visit will provide benefits and insight for the students,” she said.
The following remarks were delivered by a representative of MAN 1 Tegal, Hj. Nok Akun Latifah, M.Pd., as Deputy Head of Student Affairs of MAN 1 Tegal, expressed her appreciation for the welcome and opportunity provided by the Faculty of Law. The event then continued with an exchange of plaques as souvenirs between the institutions.
Entering the main event, participants received presentations on Diponegoro University in general and the Faculty of Law in particular. The material was delivered by Umaira Hayuning Anggayasti, S.H., M.Kn. and Bagus Rahmanda, S.H., M.H. as the Public Relations Team of the Faculty of Law, Diponegoro University (Undip). This presentation aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the educational system, study programs, and academic and non-academic opportunities at the Faculty of Law.
Through this study visit, the Faculty of Law hopes to provide students of MAN 1 Tegal with insight and motivation to continue their education at the higher education level, particularly in law.
