Department of Constitutional Law in collaboration with the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Indonesia held a National Seminar with the theme “Fostering Constitutional Awareness in the Elementary School Environment in the Context of Commemorating the Pancasila Worship Day”. The seminar which was held on September 26, 2019 took place in room H.304 of the Dean building, inviting elementary school teachers in the Semarang city environment as participants. The elementary school teacher was specifically invited to return to ground the values of Pancasila to elementary school students, bearing in mind that elementary school age is a very important age for instilling the Pancasila ideology.
Acting as a speaker at the seminar this time included Dr. Lita Tyesta ALW, S.H., M.Hum as the representative of the HTN Faculty of Law Undip; Dr. Fajar Laksono Suroso, spokesman for the Constitutional Court; Dr. Rahayuningsih, S.Pd., M.Pd. as the winner of the 2015 Constitution Award for the Outstanding Teacher category; and Prof. Dr. Iriyanto, M.Hum as lecturer in General Basic Course (MKDU) at University OF Diponegoro , and Dr. Fifiana Wisnaeni, S.H., M.Hum acted as the moderator at this seminar. The seminar was carried out attractively with lots of questions from the teachers present about how to ground the values of Pancasila for elementary school teachers.
With the holding of the National Seminar for Pancasila teachers at the Elementary School level, it is hoped that it can help instill the values of Pancasila as an ideology of the Nation and fight against all the transnational ideologies that are flourishing today.
