Introduction to Campus Life for New Students or commonly known as PKKMB is an activity carried out for new students in order to introduce themselves to the campus and prepare new students for a learning environment in Higher Education. The Faculty of Law UNDIP held PKKMB for 2 days, on 14 and 15 August 2023. This event began with the PKKMB Ceremony and continued with PKKMB activities. The PKKMB ceremony was attended by New Law Faculty UNDIP 2023 Students. The total number of New UNDIP Law Students is 1,213 students. Consisting of 797 regular undergraduate students, 29 IUP students, 28 undergraduate Jepara students, 149 students Master of Notary, 162 Law Masters students, and 48 students Doctor of Law Study Program.
The PKKMB ceremony was opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Law UNDIP, Prof. Dr. Retno Saraswati., S.H., M.Hum. by tapping the hammer 3 times. “Today, August 14, new students were officially accepted by the Faculty of Law UNDIP, previously students were officially appointed at the University on August 11 2023 and the handover from the Chancellor to me as the Dean to be educated according to existing regulations,” added Prof. Dr. Retno Saraswati., S.H., M.Hum. in greeting.
In this ceremony, the Dean also introduced the Deputy Dean, Head of the Study Program, Study Program Secretary, Head of Section, Administrative Manager, and Supervisor. Then the ceremonial procession The acceptance of new students bearing the banner is represented by each study program. Followed by the opening of the PKKMB activity by sticking a wayang mountain by Prof. Dr. Retno Saraswati., S.H., M.Hum.
Before closing the ceremony, a video of congratulations was played to new students, an introduction to the campus, and an introduction to the lecturers. The Dean of the Faculty of Law UNDIP closed the PKKMB ceremony by tapping the gavel 3 times.

- Presentation of material with the theme “Nation Life, State and State Defense Awareness Development (Pancasila, Study Profile
Pancasila)” by Hasyim Asy’ari, S.H., M.Sc., Ph.D. (Chairman of the KPU of the Republic of Indonesia)
- Material presentation on the Indonesian Higher Education System in the Era of the Independent Campus (Introduction to the Higher Education System in Indonesia and the Formation of Student Character) by Prof. Dr. Retno Saraswati S.H., M.Hum. (Dean of FH Undip)
- Material presentation on the Indonesian Higher Education System in the Era of the Independent Campus (Introduction to Culture, Ethics, Manners, Norms of Campus Life, Bullying, Prevention of Immoral Actions and Sexual Violence on Campus) by Dr. Tri Laksmi Indreswari, S.H., M.H. (Deputy Dean for Academic and Student Affairs)
- Introduction of Student Organizations for Phase I Undergraduate Students (UKMF and several Faculty organizations), namely Pseudorechtspraak, PRMK, KDKS, ALSA, BOLA, and LPM-GK.
The series of PKKMB activities on the second day were:
- Presentation of material about PERAK (Academic Regulations), Learning Methods, and Lecture Systems by Dr. Aditya Yuli Sulistyawan, S.H., M.Hum.
- Introduction of SIAP UNDIP by Danda Purwidyatmoko, S.Kom. and Erwin Rudiyuwono, S.E. as academic staff
- Material presentation on Undip Library Access by Mrs. Fahimah S.sos.
- Presentation of material with the theme “Higher Education in the Era of Industrial Revolution 4.0 and Society 5.0” by Kadek Cahya Susila Wibawa, S.H., M.H.
- Presentation of material with the theme “Environmental Awareness and Disaster Mitigation/ Preparedness in Higher Education” by Prof. Dr. Fx. Adji Samekto, S.H., M.H., and M. Nashir Jamaludin, SHI.
- Presentation of “Campus Facilities and Infrastructure” by Solechan S.H., M.H. as deputy dean for human resources
- Introduction to Student Organizations for Stage II Undergraduate Students, namely PMK, PSM-SDG, KSBA, KKI, THEMIS, NEBULA, KSHI, BASKET, KRD, SELF-Defense, SENAT, and BEM FH UNDIP.

Two International Undergraduate Program (IUP), Faculty of Law Universitas Diponegoro students were selected to participate in student exchange activities at Leiden Law School. Student exchange activities are realizing academic collaboration between the Faculty of Law, Diponegoro University, and Leiden Law School. The selected students were Tarissa Zahra Hidayati and Annisa Permata Sari Harahap. The awardees will study from August 2023 to December 2023 at Leiden Law School, Leiden University, Netherlands.

The signing of the cooperation agreement took place on Thursday, 27 July 2023 in the Main Meeting Room, Prof. Building. Satjipto Rahardjo, Undip Faculty of Law. The Cooperation Agreement was signed by the Dean of the Undip Faculty of Law, Prof. Dr. Retno Saraswati, S.H., M.Hum. and President of FHP Law School, Satria Utama, S.H. The event was attended by Deputy Deans, Heads of Study Programs, Managers, Supervisors and FHP Law School delegates. The scope of this cooperation agreement is the provision of PKPA scholarships for Undip Faculty of Law students and mediator training for Undip Faculty of Law lecturers.

Continuing the first day of ICOLEG 2023, on the second day it starts with a scientific session first with 6 presenters in each chamber. After all the presenters made their presentations, the activity continued with a plenary session moderated by Diastama Anggita Ramadhan, S.H., LL.M. with guest speaker Dahliana Hasan, S.H., M.Tax., Ph.D. from the Faculty of Law, Gadjah Mada University, and Iman Prihandono, S.H., M.H., LL.M., Ph.D. from the Faculty of Law, Airlangga University. Then there was a discussion session with the speakers. The event continued with the awarding of placards and certificates to the speakers, and the announcement of the best paper and the best presenter from each chamber. The event was closed by the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Diponegoro University, Prof. Dr. Retno Saraswati, S.H., M.Hum. and continued with a photo session with ICOLEG 2023 participants.

The 3rd International Conference on Law, Economic, & Governance will be held on Tuesday, 11 July 2023 at the Poncowati Ballroom, Patra Hotel and Convention. This international conference was attended by 38 presenters who had submitted papers or journals, to make presentations, the conference participants were divided into 3 chambers within 2 days, so that each chamber contained approximately 6 to 7 presenters. Before the scientific session started, there was a plenary session which invited 3 speakers namely Prof. Dr. FX. Adji Samekto, S.H., M.Hum. as a representative from the Faculty of Law, Diponegoro University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Salawati Mat Basir, LL.B., LL.M. from the National University of Malaysia, and Prof. M.R. Andri Gunawan Wibisana, S.H., LL.M., Ph.D. from the Faculty of Law, Airlangga University, moderated by Dr. Adya Paramita, S.H., M.L.I, M.H.
then the scientific session started, the presenters presented the papers they had made. Each presenter has approximately 15 minutes for presentations and questions and answers. After all the presenters presented their papers, the event continued with a plenary session with 2 speakers, namely Dr. Constantinos Yiallourides from Macquarie University, and Prof. Dr. Petra Minnerop, LL.B., LL.M. from Durham University moderated by Pulung Widhi Hari Hananto, S.H., M.H., LL.M.. The resource persons presented the material in approximately 30 minutes, then continued with discussions with ICOLEG 2023 participants and closed the first day of implementation.

The opening of the 3rd International Conference on Law, Economic & Governance on Tuesday, 11 July 2023 at the Poncowati Ballroom, Patra Hotel and Convention was held with great fanfare. This activity was attended by the Dean of the Undip Faculty of Law, resource persons, and ICOLEG 2023 participants. At the beginning of the event, there was a gambyong dance danced by two UPGRIS students, then continued with singing the national anthem Indonesia Raya. Chair of The 3rd International Conference on Law, Economics, & Governance namely Dr. Muh. Afif Mahfud, gave a speech which was continued by Prof. Dr. Retno Saraswati, S.H., M.Hum. as the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Diponegoro University, who gave a brief speech, and opened the ICOLEG 2023 activity by hitting the gong 3 times. The event was continued by giving placards to the speakers who came to this activity.
