A total of 214 12th-grade students and 12 accompanying teachers from SMAN 1 Ngaglik participated in an educational outing to the Faculty of Law, Diponegoro University (FH Undip), on Wednesday, February 11, 2026. This activity aimed to provide a first-hand look at the world of law studies and to motivate students to make informed decisions about their future studies. The event began with a campus tour of the Undip Faculty of Law. Guided by Heru Setyono, S.S., and Deka Harry Prabowo, the students had the opportunity to explore various academic facilities, including classrooms and learning support areas, as well as the Moot Courtroom, an iconic venue for law student practice. The group also visited several other supporting facilities.
Following the tour, the event continued in the Fiat Justisia Room, Prof. Dr. Samiadji Soerotjaroko, S.H. Building. The event opened with a screening of the faculty profile video. It was attended by the Vice Dean for Human Resources of the Faculty of Law, Diponegoro University (Undip), Dr. Kadek Cahya Susila Wibawa, S.H., M.H. In his remarks, the Faculty of Law’s Human Resources Supervisor, Andi Susetyo, S.T., M.Pi., emphasized the importance of choosing a study program from an early age.
“In 12th grade, you must be sure of your chosen study program to avoid making any mistakes,” he emphasized.
The Principal of SMAN 1 Ngaglik, Yunan Helmi S., S.Pd., M.Pd., expressed his appreciation for the warm welcome from the faculty. He also hoped the students would receive more in-depth information regarding admission opportunities to the Bachelor of Laws program. “We hope there will be a more detailed explanation regarding the quota for the Bachelor of Laws program to encourage our students to strive for admission,” he said.
The event then continued with a plaque exchange as a symbol of collaboration. It concluded with a group photo session between the Undip Faculty of Law academic community and the SMAN 1 Ngaglik family. The Undip Faculty of Law Public Relations team, Willy Naresta, S.H., M.Kn., and Ahmad Nur Shadiq, S.H., M.H., delivered the presentation session on academic information systems. The atmosphere was interactive, especially during the question-and-answer session. One topic that captured the students’ attention was the Undip Faculty of Law’s achievements at the national level, particularly its success in winning various medals at the National Student Scientific Week (PIMNAS).
In response, the Undip Faculty of Law team shared tips for success, including the importance of developing a research culture from an early age, strengthening team collaboration, and maintaining consistency in scientific writing. The presentation team hoped that this visit would motivate the students to study even harder.
