The Faculty of Law at Diponegoro University hosted a study visit from SMAN 1 Gambiran, Banyuwangi, on Monday, February 9, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. Western Indonesian Time. 225 students and 15 accompanying teachers attended the visit. The visit began with a tour of the Undip Faculty of Law. The students were invited to inspect various buildings and supporting facilities, including classrooms, courtrooms, and other academic support areas. The tour was guided by Heru Setyono, S.S., and Deka Harry Prabowo, who provided an overview of the faculty’s academic and student activities.
After the tour, the group was directed to the Fiat Justisia Room, 3rd Floor, Prof. Dr. Samiadji Soerotjaroko, S.H. Building, for the main event. The event opened with a screening of a profile video of the Undip Faculty of Law. In his remarks, the representative of the Undip Faculty of Law, Andi Susetyo, S.T., M.Pi., delivered remarks. expressed his appreciation for the visit. He said, “Thank you for the visit from SMAN 1 Gambiran to the Faculty of Law, Diponegoro University (Undip). Hopefully, through this activity, we can share positive things. Please update the information on the website so that students’ achievements can be well-publicized.”
The Principal of SMAN 1 Gambiran, Ahmad Darmawan, S.Pd., M.P., expressed his gratitude for the welcome given by the Faculty of Law, Diponegoro University. “We are grateful for the extraordinary reception that exceeded our expectations. Our group was greeted very comfortably. Thank you also for the Faculty of Law’s attention to the importance of website updates, and we are confident this will serve as a basis for mutual evaluation,” he added. The event then continued with a plaque exchange as a memento between the two institutions. Next, the Public Relations team, namely Shofiy Zulfah, S.H., M.H., and Bunga Jasmine Puji Hapsari, S.H., M.Kn., a lecturer in the Civil Law Department, delivered material on Diponegoro University and the academic system at the Faculty of Law. The event concluded with a question-and-answer session. It is hoped that this visit will provide new insights for students and strengthen the relationship between the Faculty of Law, Diponegoro University (Undip) and SMAN 1 Gambiran, Banyuwangi.
