Undip Law Faculty Self-Defense Karate Team Wins 42 Medals at the 2026 STKIP Pasundan Open Tournament National Karate Championship

The Diponegoro University Law Faculty (FH Undip) Self-Defense Karate Team once again achieved a brilliant achievement, winning a total of 42 medals at the 2026 STKIP Pasundan Open Tournament National Karate Championship held at the Padjajaran Sports Hall, Bandung. This achievement consisted of 24 gold, 12 silver, and 6 bronze medals, making Undip Law Faculty one of the best teams in the championship.

The national championship, attended by hundreds of athletes from universities and karate clubs across Indonesia, served as a platform to showcase the quality, consistency, and competitiveness of Undip Law Faculty karate athletes. The athletes performed optimally in various competitions, including kata and kumite, in the student, senior, and U-21 categories.

This success was achieved through the extraordinary contributions of the Undip Law Faculty delegates, who performed dominantly in various classes. Several athletes won first place in the individual kumite and kata categories, including Tashal Hafish, Firman Maulana Kurniawan, Zafira Anggraini Widodo, Anindita Fauziah Dwi Aryadi, Dzaky Al Jabar, Aqmarina Nurin Izzati, Javier Anugrah Onggowinoto, Octafiani Ramadhani, Maretta Wisnu Arief Wicaksono, and other accomplished athletes.

In addition, significant contributions also came from Anwar Sucipto Tambunan, Mochammad Febranyansyah, Rahayu Setyo Wening, Salwa Alya Ersatama, Kayla Riskia Maharani, Dayinta Shofia Nabila, Atharrazan Ghaitsayya Razzaqu, Annasrfi Alfarisi, Qurrotul Ainirrizqi, Nathania Jacinda Suherman, Annisa Ozora Himmatana, Veline Fitria Ramadhani, and Haidar Abdurahman Syauqi, who also won medals in various events.

This medal achievement reflects the results of intensive coaching, disciplined training, and the hard work of the athletes, coaches, and supporting team. This achievement also strengthens the reputation of the Faculty of Law, Diponegoro University (Undip) as a faculty that excels not only in academics but also in developing student interests and talents, particularly in martial arts.

The Dean of the Faculty of Law, Diponegoro University (Undip), expressed his appreciation and pride for this achievement and hoped that it would motivate all students to continue to excel, uphold sportsmanship, and bring honor to the institution at the national and international levels.
