Semarang, July 2, 2025 — The Faculty of Law at Diponegoro University (FH Undip) continues to strengthen synergy with various parties in an effort to develop the legal sector. On Tuesday (July 1), FH Undip officially signed a cooperation agreement with the Diponegoro University Faculty of Law Alumni Association (IKAFH Undip) and HukumOnline. The signing ceremony took place in the Session Room of the Undip Faculty of Law. The faculty leadership, the central board of IKAFH, and representatives from HukumOnline were in attendance.
The event began with a welcoming speech from the Dean of FH Undip, Prof. Dr. Retno Saraswati, S.H., M.Hum., who expressed appreciation for this collaboration. According to her, cooperation between the campus, alumni, and the legal industry is an essential step in building a legal education ecosystem that is adaptive and relevant to contemporary needs. The Chairman of the IKAFH Undip Central Board, Asep Ridwan, S.H., M.H., also welcomed this collaboration and hoped that this strategic partnership would open concrete opportunities for alumni contributions in strengthening the institution and mentoring students.
Meanwhile, the representative from HukumOnline, who attended the event, emphasized the importance of collaboration with educational institutions to support the improvement of legal literacy and the utilization of technology in the legal world. Following the series of speeches, the activity continued with the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between FH Undip, IKAFH Undip, and HukumOnline, as well as the presentation of a plaque as a symbol of the commencement of the official cooperation among the three parties.
Through this cooperation, innovative and sustainable programs will be developed to advance legal education and strengthen the legal profession’s network in Indonesia.
