FH Undip and FH UNISS Kendal Sign Cooperation Agreement and Conduct Benchmarking as well as Field Study (KKL)

Semarang, July 7, 2025 — The Faculty of Law at Diponegoro University (FH Undip) received a visit from the Faculty of Law at Universitas Selamat Sri (UNISS) Kendal for the signing of a cooperation agreement, as well as the implementation of benchmarking and Field Work Lecture (Kuliah Kerja Lapangan – KKL) activities.

The event took place in the fiat justitia room at the Undip Faculty of Law and marked a critical moment in strengthening collaboration between law higher education institutions in Indonesia. The activity began with a welcome speech from the Dean of FH Undip, Prof. Dr. Retno Saraswati, S.H., M.Hum., who expressed appreciation for this cooperation initiative as a strategic step in improving the quality of legal education. In her speech, she also emphasized the importance of synergy among legal education institutions in facing current global challenges and the development of legal technology.

Following this, a speech was delivered by the Dean of the Faculty of Law at Universitas Selamat Sri (UNISS), Dr. Sitta Saraya, S.H., M.H., who expressed gratitude for the warm welcome from FH Undip and the hope that this cooperation would provide tangible benefits for both parties, particularly in terms of knowledge exchange, curriculum strengthening, and capacity building for lecturers and students.

The signing of the cooperation agreement between FH Undip and FH UNISS Kendal, along with the presentation of a souvenir as a symbol of friendship and long-term collaborative commitment, marked the peak of the activity.

The activities continued with a benchmarking session, where participants from FH UNISS received presentations on FH Undip’s academic system, institutional governance, management of scientific journals, and various excellent programs. This session took place in an interactive atmosphere, with discussions and a Q&A that enriched the insights of both parties.

This event is a concrete manifestation of the collaborative spirit between law higher education institutions, where they learn from each other, exchange experiences, and build legal education that is more adaptive and of high quality amidst the changing times.
